Spectra Dynamics “State-of-the-Art and Science”
Spectra Dynamics manufactures and assembles crystal and glass components to exceed the most demanding specifications of the photonics industry. We offer a diverse array of deep ultra-violet, visible and far-infrared transparent optical elements for use in the laser, spectroscopy, electro-optic, aero space and defense industries. The geometries of the elements we produce consist of Plano windows, prisms and lenses.
Located in New York’s mid Hudson region, Spectra Dynamic’s manufacturing facility incorporates strictly controlled process environments designed to acquire, fabricate, inspect and test the highest quality optical surfaces. Where required, all military specification standards are observed throughout production. Final quality control inspections, testing, assemblies and packaging are conducted in a class 100 clean room to ensure the products our customers receive are of consistent quality, precision and cleanliness.
Our breadth of technology and material resources ensure that our customers can rely on Spectra-Dynamics to produce the most accurate and cost-saving components available. The unique manufacturing methodologies we practice enable us to offer an unlimited list of optical materials which include MgF2, CaF2, LiF, BaF2, Al203, Si, fused silica, any glass type, NaCl, KCl, KBr, Ge, ZnS and ZnSe.
