Abilities of precision and testing
Implemented with our knowledge and talents, these machines work in concert with industry standard ZYGO GPI phase measuring interferometers. Specifications of .02 λ PV (Peak-to-Valley) and .004 λ RMS (Root Mean Square) at .63 μm HeNe are available for many different high quality optical materials. Our precision polishing processes commonly produce optics with a surface roughness of less than 10 Å. Super polished substrates average 1 to 3 Å of surface roughness for minimal scatter and absorption of energy which optimizes performance and reliability. Parallelism and angular tolerances less than 1 arc second accommodate many of our Mirror, Window, Filter, Beam splitter, Waveplate, Polarizer, Etalon, Brewsterplate and Prisms of many configurations. In lens production, concentricity less than 10 μm with radius of curvatures accurate to .1 μm are typical for our Deep-UV Calcium Fluoride objective lens programs. With extreme scrutiny, Scratch/Dig surface qualities of 10/5 (MIL-O-13830A) are produced for many of our high-end optical programs. The achievements of these qualities ensures that our optics exceed all specified tolerances and perform your photonics applications with the greatest accuracy and reliability.
